Whiteley Art Exhibition 2010.

At Explosion! Museum of Naval Firepower. 

The first exhibition of the Whiteley Art Society at Explosion will take place on Friday 20^th, Saturday 21^st and Sunday 22^nd August 2010. 10.00am – 5.00pm, 10.00am – 4.00pm on Sunday.

The exhibition will be held at Explosion! Museum of Naval Firepower, Heritage Way, Priddy’s Hard, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 4LE. Entry is free.

The exhibition will include original paintings, prints, sculpture, woodcarving, cards and handmade crafts. Most of which will be for sale, giving an opportunity to find that original gift.

Explosion has a large car park and a coffee lounge where you can relax and sample a large range of refreshments.

Whiteley Art Society was set up in 2006 and is affiliated with the Society of All Artists. Whiteley Art Society was formed to inspire and encourage the people of Whiteley and surrounding areas to paint and draw. We have a flourishing membership of 143. Our meetings take place on the second Monday of the month at Whiteley Primary School, Gull Coppice, Whiteley, Hampshire, between 7.00pm – 9.00pm. The meetings alternate between a demonstration from a visiting professional artist and paint-a- longs. We also have a wide variety of trips and events that take place throughout the year.
