Summer Holiday Fun at Explosion – August 2011

Daily activities throughout the Summer Holidays, including ‘Hunt the Mice’ in the Museum galleries and ‘Giant Board Games’ on the Museum Green. FREE with a valid Museum Ticket.

 

Lee on Solent Art Group Annual Exhibition

Thursday 18^th - Sunday 21st August 2011 - 10am until 5pm

This exhibition, in the Museum Conference Hall, is a collection of works, all contributed by members of the Lee on the Solent Art Group. The display will include watercolours, acrylics, and many other styles. All works will be available for sale.

The exhibition is FREE to enter for all visitors. (does not include Museum entry). 

 

Warships and Wargames Weekend – 27^th and 28^th of August 2011 – 10am until 5pm

Join the Surface Warship Association for a displays of old and modern warships in the Conference Hall, including a chance to race remote controlled model boats on the Museum’s specially built Boating Pool. In addition, the Naval Wargames Society and its members will re-create many historic battles in miniature model form in the Grand Magazine. Both exhibitions are FREE with a valid Museum Ticket.
