A Night at the Museum!! - Childrens Overnight Sleepovers.
The Museum of Naval Firepower is now able to host overnight sleepovers for childrens groups. Group Sleepovers are ideal for Cubs/Scouts, Brownies/Girlguides and even as a birthday treat! The Museum can cater for groups of different sizes, although the minimum number for a sleepover is 20 children.
We can welcome your group on arrival and serve them Tea in the Museum Coffee Shop (usually Sausage Roll and Beans etc.), the children can then embark on a visit to the galleries. Each child is given a Museum Trail and Pencil to complete on the way round. Once finished within the main Museum, groups can then choose to watch a Hollywood Blockbuster on the Museum's Large LCD Cinema screen, or even use the Conference Hall for party games and activites. Children can choose to either sleep in the main museum or in the Conference Hall. Cornflakes are then served for breakfast before departure. A typical itinery would be as follows: -
6pm - Arrival and Tea in the Museum Coffee Shop.
7pm - Visit to Museum Galleries with Trail Guide.
9pm - Visit to the Conference Hall to watch movie on cinema screen.
11pm - Sleep in either Conference Hall or main Museum.
7am - Breakfast in the Coffee Shop.
9am - Departure.

Minimum of 20 children - £20.00 per head inc. VAT
Minimum of 30 children - £15.00 per head inc. VAT
Minimum of 40 children - £12.00 per head inc. VAT

Please note: - all sleepovers must be supervised by adequate number of parents or group leaders. A previsit is recommended for all sleepovers.
